Shiva Delsooz is an Iranian-Canadian illustrator born and raised in Ontario, Canada. Having a diploma from Loyalist college in Animation, Shiva was able to develop her skills in character design and concept art to move forward in her art journey. Growing up as someone with severe hearing loss, art as well as music were her coping methods to deal with her new situation, mainly tinnitus. Her developing interest in music led her to venture into going to live events and her passion for art which led her to start a career in the illustration industry. In her free time she loves going to bookstores and watching foreign films. Ever since her early childhood she’s always been interested in drawing. Instead of drawing on walls she was the kid who would draw under tables.  Though she’s not much of an athlete she’s always been interested in figure skating and loves watching the competitions.
